Package: gradle Version: 1.5-2 Severity: wishlist
A few weeks ago we had a discussion with the Fedora maintainer of Gradle in #debian-java. He told us that Fedora uses groovyc to compile and bootstrap Gradle. I think this method should be considered for the Debian package too because it is an improvement over downloading a pre-built binary.
