The problem is that the "netwinder" images are used on two platforms (generally known as "Footbridge", which is what the 2.6 kernel calls these). While Netwinder machines don't have USB, CATS (the other Footbridge platform supported in Debian) has USB. Anyway, I'll try to look at this bug in more detail later and see if there's a better solution that the current one.
