Thank you for keeping me up to date about Debian's needs. When is the
Stretch release? Throughout this year I have been porting Rapid Photo
Downloader to Python 3.4, PyQt5, libgphoto2, and 0mq. I have made a lot
of progress but much remains to be done:

It would help me a great deal if the Debian package request for the
python binding to libgphoto2 was implemented. Please see bug #781693
