At the risk of providing too much stop energy, we are about to release a new upstream version (hopefully in the next few days). The new version of fish no longer depends on a fishd component. Unless the AppArmor profile will be applied to previous versions (I think Wheezy still ships 1.23.1+20120106.git8b407a3-1, which has privilege escalation flaws) there may not be a great deal of utility from further developing the current profile.
