Hm. It doesn't segfault for me. (It may be specific to Debian, as bug #787890 reports a very similar thing.)
Could you post the output of 'nano --version' (to see the compilation options)? And would it be possible to get a strace from such a crash? Oh, and does it happen if you start your two nanos both with --ignorercfiles --locking?
