Package: broadcom-sta-dkms Version: 6.30.223.248-3 Severity: normal Using the wl module with a bcm4352 card, I enable wowlan via magic packet using the command:
iw phy phy0 wowlan enable magic-packet verified with: iw phy phy0 wowlan show This works exactly once. I suspend the machine, and send it a magic packet via etherwake, and the system resumes. However, after resuming, the bcm432 can no longer detect APs, and is disconnected from the wlan from which the magic packet is sent. The following command returns nothing after resuming: iw dwv wlan0 scan If I rmmod wl to unload it, and modprobe wl to reload it, I'm back in business, but this means the box resumes with no network, making wowlan useless, since you need to be hands on to get the network back. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.1 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages broadcom-sta-dkms depends on: ii dkms 2.2.0.3-2 Versions of packages broadcom-sta-dkms recommends: ii wireless-tools 30~pre9-8 broadcom-sta-dkms suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
