Package: boa
Version: 0.94.14rc20-1.2
Followup-For: Bug #296370
I Just Installed Boa from testing, and I found it does not work as I
expected:
I created some galleries, and when I take a look at the icon page
everything works OK, when I click on a thumbnail to see the larger
image it fails and dthe browser (konqueror or mozilla-firefox) show and
image icon.
If then I try to forse che loading the image, i got an "image cannot be
displayed because it contained errors" message.
In the logfile I see something like this:
127.0.0.1 - - [22/Dec/2005:23:04:32 +0000] request "GET
/bins/img0000_Sm.jpg HTTP/1.1" ("/var/www/bins/img0000_Sm.jpg"):
sendfile write: Function not implemented
vladnick:/var/www/bins# ls -l img0000_Sm.jpg
-rw-r--r-- 1 vladimir users 124101 Dec 21 18:29 img0000_Sm.jpg
Of course I cannot use boa in this situation. I tried also thttpd and apache,
and both have not this error.
I had a look at the bug archive, but I didn't understood if in sarge the
bug was solved, or if boa is broken also in sarge.
Regards, Vladimir Nicola
