Hi Jérôme , mmm, on my NAS I'm currently debugging a similar issue. Also the hardware seems similar; my mainboard is a Jetway NF9C-2600
My symtoms: 3.16 (also the current one in sid) won't boot, stuck before handing over to initrd, 3.14 would boot. (I will try bisect the kernel, but that will for sure take some time) However, in my case it *always* get stuck. Dear fellow DD's: Please let me know how can I help debugging this issue? -- tobi I currently suspect the SATA to be the culprit; when I do have SATA drives connected the system hangs -- (checked with the the netinstall installer) Can you try this too? (dd'ing the Jessie installer on a USB stick, remove the harddrive and boot from the stick) (lscpi -v attached) A difference: I'm using amd64.
