This issue has been fixed by upstream since 14.38.1 (via upstream commit 6f52bcbc8bdbe507b04f3205dc8ab67599f7e695).
I just did a test-rebuild against g++ (>= 4:5) from experimental and the build succeeds with the latest in Debian available version of libzypp (15.3.0-1).
