Package: chrony Version: 1.20-8 Severity: normal
I have chronyd running as a time server on a host with multiple IP adresses. No other chrony could connect to it so I figured out (using tcpdump) that the server was answering from a different IP address, than the request was received from. This will hardly ever work, but I also found no way to constrain chrony to a specific sources address (apart from rerouting by iptables). -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.14.4-misdn Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages chrony depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libncurses5 5.4-4 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libreadline4 4.3-11 GNU readline and history libraries -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
