Package: libssl1.0.0 Version: 1.0.2a-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
This is probably already reported in one of the other bugs. Libssl1.0.0 built from openssl version 1.0.2b-1 breaks wpa_supplicant on my system. The error message: wlan0: deauthenticated from 89:18:95:dc:15:63 (Reason: 15=4WAY_HANDSHAKE_TIMEOUT) I tried debugging wpa_supplicant like so: /sbin/wpa_supplicant -s -d -P /run/wpa_supplicant.wlan0.pid -i wlan0 -D nl80211,wext -c /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf but that is probably not the right incantation: it resulted in "stack smashing detected". In any case, downgrading to libssl1.0.0 built from openssl 1.0.2a-1 restores wpa_supplicant. Hope this is helpful. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 4.0.0-2-686-pae (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages libssl1.0.0 depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.56 ii libc6 2.19-18 ii multiarch-support 2.19-18 libssl1.0.0 recommends no packages. libssl1.0.0 suggests no packages. -- debconf information: libssl1.0.0/restart-failed: libssl1.0.0/restart-services: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
