Package: libssl1.0.0
Version: 1.0.2a-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

This is probably already reported in one of the other bugs. Libssl1.0.0 built
from openssl version 1.0.2b-1 breaks wpa_supplicant on my system. The error
message:
wlan0: deauthenticated from 89:18:95:dc:15:63 (Reason:
15=4WAY_HANDSHAKE_TIMEOUT)

I tried debugging wpa_supplicant like so:

/sbin/wpa_supplicant -s -d -P /run/wpa_supplicant.wlan0.pid -i wlan0 -D
nl80211,wext -c /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf

but that is probably not the right incantation: it resulted in "stack smashing
detected". In any case, downgrading to libssl1.0.0 built from openssl 1.0.2a-1
restores wpa_supplicant.

Hope this is helpful.
