Hi, a.) if you want/need sponsoring please provide source packages, aka a working .dsc. Just linking to git is not as helpful as it could be and causes the sponsoring person extra work. Make it easy for people helping you!
(a .dsc is complete, doesnt require further searching in a git repo and is
also a sign that at least the source build was tested.)
b.) use git tags and sign them
c.) use meaningful commit messages, "fix FTBFS" is not. "Fix include pathes
for cython to fix FTBFS" is.
d.) thanks for your work on Debian!
That said, I've sponsored the upload now. Please do add signed git tags and
push them.
