Judging from the release notes, it would not be too hard to update the Policy's description of how Debian follows and deviates from the FHS. By the way, I wonder if the debian-policy package is the best place for shipping a copy of the FHS. I just checked out the bzr repository that contains its sources, and it builds out of the box (build-depends on xmlto and fop). Perhaps it would deserve its own package ?
