Hm, I'm not sure the two issues are related. Restarting the journal did break the individual services, but I'm not aware of it causing systemd to segfault. But indeed, restarting journald is not supported in jessie. That's why I was asking Tino what had triggered that restart. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
