Thanks for the report.

I checked with version 3.4.0-1. I rotated the photo with the
arrows at the top. And monitored the mem usage(%MEM) with 
'top -p pid'. Looks ok.

How did you monitored the mem usage ? Did you use the arrows ?
Can you test the version in 'testing' ?
