Bug#744128: network-manager-openvpn-gnome: does not import ovpn configuration file (GUI crashes)

I can confirm this bugand I see I'm not the only one:

It happens under MATE desktop environment, after installing 
network-manager-openvpn-gnome and trying to import the .ovpn 
configuration file the GUIcrashes.

The system was installed as:

*Desktop environment
    *MATE
*Standard system

After installation I only added mate-desktop-environment-extras.
