sorry for bumping the severity, but I have to bundle the code in my casablanca application, since the package is not suitable for my needs. Since I don't like to ask and give nothing back, I did some work on the package (I'm also willing to maintain it if needed, just ask), since I really need and I doubt it is usable anymore as this point. I'm attaching the upstream git snapshot, and the debian packaging. this is far more for an NMU, and without your permission I just can't step over the maintaining, this is why I really would appreciate an ack/nack on the changes below, and the bug fixed.
