Hi,
I just spent sometime this weekend upgrading ObjCryst/Fox to work with
wxWidgets 3.0+
By chance while searching around I found this bug. The reason for your
problems is that the currently released version of Fox (a few years old) does
not work with wxWidgets 3.0, which leads to a few bugs which you have
unfortunately found.
Now most of the outstanding bugs have been corrected (except for the “check
for updates” - that’s what I was searching about when I found your bug), and
the development version of Fox (available from git) does work with wxWidgets
3.0.2.
Best wishes,
