Hi! While working on the “reproducible builds” effort [1], I have noticed that smcroute could not be built reproducibly. The problematic bit is the BUILD id included in the 'smcroute -v' output, which is based on a timestamp generated during build. As this doesn't feel like really crucial information, the fix committed upstream [2] simply removes it by default.
