Looking at what dhelp does, it seems that this is actually a pstotext issue:
pstotext -output /tmp/1277.txt rfc1277.ps pstotext: internal error 202 The -debug output doesn't seem to shed any light on the issue, so I considered just reassigning (at least for further triage). But investigating further, this is a very peculiar PostScript file - produced by dvips very old version, and incompatible with modern softare: 'gv' seems to view the postscript file - at least partially, navigation seems broken and you can cycle through the document endlessly, evince only sees one page. As such, I'll patch the build process to rewrite the file in-place (using ps2ps2). thanks, iustin
