Package: slim Version: 1.3.6-4 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
from time to time (maybe once in three to five startups) I end up seeing only a black screen when my PC has started up. Although I can't see a thing, slim is running since I am able to log in by just typing my credentials. Then I see the hard disk indicators flashing. If I switch to a virtual console (e.g. by Ctrl-Alt-F1) and back (to VT2) then I see my desktop environment as expected. This bug is annoying for the average user, because one can think that the PC is unusable or has crashed. Thanks!
