For reference, this is the relevant systemd-shim bug report: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=765101 The systemd-shim package first tried to sync the D-Bus policy file changes in 8-3, but then agreed that it was better to simply drop the D-Bus policy file, to avoid having it being outdated/out-of-sync again. This happened in version 8.4. Users dist-upgrading from wheezy won't run into this issue. Same for users, which kept systemd-shim installed in sid and upgraded to the newer version. I'm afraid there isn't a lot we can do about that (in systemd) and I'm inclined to close the bug report. Do you agree?
