I didn't need Maven 3 to build maven-compiler-plugin 3.2. However, 3.x depends on updated (>= 2.0) plexus-compiler library. So, I had to patch plexus-compiler to don't break maven-compiler-plugin 2.5.1. If I don't see significant breakage with this updated maven-compiler-plugin release I'll proceed to update Maven 2 super pom in experimental. If it turns out Maven 3 is really needed, then I'll introduce a new package maven-compiler-plugin-2.5 as we discussed earlier. -- Miguel Landaeta, nomadium at debian.org secure email with PGP 0x6E608B637D8967E9 available at http://miguel.cc/key.
