Package: xscreensaver-gl Version: 5.30-1+b1 Severity: wishlist File: /usr/lib/xscreensaver/glslideshow Tags: upstream
I use xscreensaver to view family photos, and often I wish that I'd see more of the latest photos than all photos with equal probability. How hard would it be to be to add two controls to glslideshow: 1. a sort order 2. a curve describing the probability of selection of each image, which could be as easy as an exponential curve increasing with x being the axis listing all photos in increasing sort order. ? It's just an idea, but I figure I should drop it here. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.18.0-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_NZ, LC_CTYPE=en_NZ.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages xscreensaver-gl depends on: ii libc6 2.19-13 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.31.1-2+b1 ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1] 10.4.2-2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.42.1-1 ii libglu1-mesa [libglu1] 9.0.0-2 ii libice6 2:1.0.9-1+b1 ii libsm6 2:1.2.2-1+b1 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.2-3 ii libxext6 2:1.3.3-1 ii libxmu6 2:1.1.2-1 ii libxpm4 1:3.5.11-1+b1 ii libxt6 1:1.1.4-1+b1 ii libxxf86vm1 1:1.1.3-1+b1 xscreensaver-gl recommends no packages.
