I've started an instrumented run, it's found 25 unique crashes and 6
unique hangs in just a couple of minutes...
Note that "unique" in AFL's sense means just "had unique code paths".
It's likely that all these crashes have just a few root causes.
There's an experimental script that might help with triaging crashes:
/usr/share/doc/afl/experimental/crash_triage/triage_crashes.sh
(The script currently expects that the target program reads input from
stdin, so you'd have to slightly adapt it for gcab.)
I'll investigate and report upstream.
