* What led up to the situation?
This problem started with the Jan 19, 2015 security update to icedove.
That's DSA-3132-1.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I composed a new message (by clicking the compose button *or* replying
to an existing email). Then I hit the "send" button. When nothing
happened, I clicked it a few more times.
* What was the outcome of this action?
Nothing happened for about 4 or 5 seconds. Then, for each time I hit
the send button, a copy of the email was sent.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
The mail should be sent immediately -- and if I click multiple times,
only one should be sent.
