have got a copy of your mail. ]

This is only an important bug, affecting hurd, which is not a release
architecture, and we are in deep freeze. So a NMU (not a binNMU) is not welcome
at this point.

You can instead send your patch upstream, so that when the freeze is over and we
update to a new upstream release, your patch is included "for free".
