Package: playitslowly Version: 1.4.0-1 Severity: important
I've just freshly installed playitslowly. It starts, shows the name of the mp3 file to be loaded (it just seems to me that it does not now the length of the file), but when I press the "play" button, nothing happens. On the console I see ** (app.py:25316): WARNING **: cannot set NULL uri ** Message: don't know how to handle audio/mpeg, mpegversion=(int)1, mpegaudioversion=(int)1, layer=(int)3, rate=(int)44100, channels=(int)2, parsed=(boolean)true The same happens when trying to open an .ogg file, even the console message is the same. I wonder whether some dependencies are missing. Generally I am able to play mp3 files using mpd or mplayer. I use alsa directly, no pulse or anything. I have libmp3lame installed: libmp3lame0 3.99.5+repack1 3.99.5+repack1 Thanks, marek elias -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages playitslowly depends on: ii gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad 0.10.23-7.4 ii gstreamer0.10-plugins-good 0.10.31-3+nmu4+b1 ii python 2.7.8-2 ii python-gst0.10 0.10.22-3 ii python-gtk2 2.24.0-4 ii python-support 1.0.15 playitslowly recommends no packages. playitslowly suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
