Any update on this? Meanwhile http://mp3splt.sourceforge.net/ does ship ready to use packages for jessie in his own repository: version 0.9.2 for the GTK user interface (NOT available in the debian/jessie mirrors yet) version 2.6.2 for mp3splt (2.4 in the debian mirrors) version 0.9.2 for Libmp3splt (0.7.2 in the debian mirrors)
