Package: passwdqc Version: 1.3.0-1 Severity: normal File: /usr/bin/pwqgen The pwqgen(1) manpage refers to the /etc/passwdqc.conf config file yet it will not read the file unless the config= option is passed.
That seems rather counter-intuitive and should at least be fixed in the documentation. In my opinion, it should read the file as well by default. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (1, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_CA.utf8, LC_CTYPE=fr_CA.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages passwdqc depends on: ii libc6 2.19-13 ii libpasswdqc0 1.3.0-1 passwdqc recommends no packages. passwdqc suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/passwdqc.conf changed: min=disabled,24,11,8,7 max=40 passphrase=3 match=4 similar=deny random=62 enforce=everyone retry=3 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
