Hi,
please add
Breaks: xpdf-utils (<< 1:0), xpdf-common
to poppler-utils.
xpdf-utils was last seen in squeeze, xpdf-common in lenny.
These packages have an unhandled symlink-to-directory conversion that
shows up frequently in some "long-grown-system upgrade tests" I do.
The best way to fix these is to ensure the ancient packages are finally
removed.
The Breaks against xpdf-utils is versioned (with an artificially high
version) to not catch the virtual package since poppler-utils also
Provides: xpdf-utils (unversioned).
This change needs to reach a stable release and can be dropped
afterwards.
