After upgrading from woody, I now see these errors when starting X apps: Fontconfig warning: line 151: invalid edit binding "same" Fontconfig warning: line 157: invalid edit binding "same" Fontconfig warning: line 163: invalid edit binding "same" Fontconfig error: "conf.d", line 1: no element found I presume a configuration file hasn't been converted properly, or somesuch. AFAIK, I've never played with the fontconfig configuration.
