Package: nmap
Version: 6.47-3
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Running nmap -O as root on a local ip address will
occasionally cause a kernel panic within a few seconds
of starting.

Another user in #debian-next has also experienced this.

I wasn't sure if this should be filed against nmap or
the linux kernel package. If you need any further information
please let me know.

Regards,

Gary
