Can you try an restart journald and logind, and see if one of those causes the issue. I.e. run systemctl restart systemd-journald.service <test ssh login> systemctl restart systemd-logind.service <test ssh login> -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
