Hello,

I tested the menu entries on jessie for the following plain installed desktop
environments:

LANG=de_DE.UTF-8
LC_CTYPE="de_DE.UTF-8"

GNOME - no menu entry
KDE - no menu entry
XFCE - no menu entry
LXDE - no menu entry

all with abtransfers 0.0.5.0-1 amd64

With the extra packages menu and menu-xdg installed the entry can be found in
the additional section "Debian/Applications/Office"

After providing the simple file below, there were menu entries in Gnome, KDE
and XFCE, but none in LXDE.

root@jessie:~# cat /usr/share/applications/abtransfers.desktop

[Desktop Entry]

Name=abTransfers

Categories=Office

Exec=abtransfers

Terminal=false

Type=Application

So I think the package just needs a correct .desktop file to provide a menu
entry for the desktop environments.

Regards,
Tobias
