severity -1 serious thanks Setting up nsd (4.1.0-1) ... Job for nsd.service failed. See 'systemctl status nsd.service' and 'journalctl -xn' for details. invoke-rc.d: initscript nsd, action "start" failed. dpkg: error processing package nsd (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
the logs just say that nsd is not a valid user, and indeed, it doesn't exist yet. This is probably because dh_installinit adds its snippets to the very top of postinst, but the user is generated further down. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_NZ, LC_CTYPE=en_NZ.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- .''`. martin f. krafft <[email protected]> @martinkrafft : :' : proud Debian developer `. `'` http://people.debian.org/~madduck `- Debian - when you have better things to do than fixing systems
