There is a pull request waiting to be merged at https://github.com/metabrainz/libmusicbrainz/pull/4 Unfortunately a proper fix for this issue needs a SONAME bump since the offending XML code is exposed via constructors to the public ABI. Cheers -- Sebastian Ramacher
