Hi Jörg, Thanks for your bug report. Please, excuse my really late answer.
The bug you reported is due to an upstream decision, so that it isn't a
bug: according to spambayes's upstream comments, it's a way to separate
sb_filter's normal output (the --filter function for example) from
sb_filter's "special" output (--help or --version).
I agree with the fact that it could be a bit disturbing, but I think that
it won't change in the future. :-)
