Package: get-iplayer Version: 2.82-2+deb7u1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
The description of this pseudo-programme reads “BBC iPlayer feeds are no longer available. Nitro is the BBC's new programme metadata API. You can find out more about this here: <a href="http://iplayerhelp.external.bbc.co.uk/tv/feeds">BBC iPlayer Feeds</a>”, which includes details on the BBC's reasoning behind the change and links for developers. The version being tested in Unstable seems not to be different from the one in Stable as the issue is not even mentioned in the change log or Get I Player's homepage, http://www.infradead.org/get_iplayer/html/get_iplayer.html. Get I Player is an excellent programme, and I would like to thank you for making it available in Debian and for maintaining it.
