In general Debian expects sponsored package maintainers to be proactive about finding sponsors; contacting former sponsors, working on their packages even while on mentors, finding new sponsors. Some tips on these pages: http://mentors.debian.net/intro-maintainers https://wiki.debian.org/DebianMentorsFaq It is too late for awstats to reach Debian jessie before the freeze. As a result once someone sponsors it you would have to ask the release team for an unblock. That said, I'm not sure if they would accept a new upstream release. https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2014/10/msg00001.html https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2014/09/msg00002.html -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
