Hi,

Thanks for digging into this.

Do I get you right from your previous post(s) that the handling of Alt+Ctrl+Tab is not correct in mate-panel? Or is that actually a window manager mode.

I don't understand your question. Yes, alt-ctrl-tab doesn't enable to access properly to the applets on the panel, and sometimes Orca says "inaccessible" on some panels.

I'd also appreciate if you could teach me how to setup / enable orca in MATE, so I can verify your bugs and fixes.

Here's my commands:

apt-get install mate-core mate-desktop-environment mate-notification-daemon dconf-editor at-spi2-core gnome-orca

export GTK_MODULES=gail:atk-bridge
(export in /etc/profile or in ~/.bash_profile)
in MATE, alt-f2, orca --replace
If orca doesn't speak while you press keys, as a user, from a mate-terminal or on a tty (with DISPLAY=:0 ):
gsettings set org.mate.interface accessibility true
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.a11y.applications screen-reader-enabled true
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface toolkit-accessibility true

Tell me if you need help.

Regards,

Greets,
Mike
