I ended up changing the original string to:

The package is correctly unpacked and configured.

Please check if the translation needs to change due to the new original
string, otherwise I'd appreciate if the bug report could be closed.

Konstantin, if you still disagree, please discuss and try to find
consensus on this in the debian-l10n-german mailing list, as a
non-German speaker, I'm afraid I'm not able to do much more here.
