Package: lxpanel
Version: 0.7.1-1
Followup-For: Bug #696677

Dear Maintainer,

It seems that this is being caused by the fact that lxpanel gets run
with an option

   --profile LXDE

which, if one runs it on the command line with that, gives the same lack
of visible panel, and this mesage:

** (lxpanel:2084): WARNING **: Config files are not found.

whereas, removing that option from the autostart setting (or running it
from the command line simply as "lxpanel", having killed the previous
instance) makes it behave properly.

Cheers, Phil.
