I have a question regarding the CC-BY-SA 2.5 part: At the time I created the images, I used the images of a computer and a pencil, which were part of the Gorilla icon theme for GNOME, and licensed at that time as CC-BY-SA 2.0 and CC-BY-SA 2.5 by their creator Jakub Steiner. The current download location (after GNOME reorganized its website) is: https://download.gnome.org/teams/art.gnome.org/themes/icon/ICON-Gorilla.tar.bz2 The pencil is part of an image that is licensed CC-BY-SA 2.0. The computer is part of an image that is licensed CC-BY-SA 2.5. I learned from https://wiki.debian.org/DFSGLicenses that CC-BY-SA 3.0 can be used. What do you propose? - Replace the image parts from images that are CC-BY-SA 3.0 and license the derived work as CC-BY-SA 3.0, or - Ask the original artist (Jakub Steiner) to relicense his work under CC-BY-SA 3.0 - Leave the situation as it is.
