Package: plptools
Version: 0.14-2
Severity: important

It seems that "plptools" messes up the keyboard operations on iBook G4
when installed.

I just added the "plptools" package (and no other ones) to my
installation, and the keyboard stopped functioning properly. It seems
to ignore some keypresses and to report other as newlines.

When I boot the system from an Ubuntu live-cd or in Mac OS X, there
are no problems with the keyboard, so it is unlikely that I have run
into a hardware failure.
