Package: plptools Version: 0.14-2 Severity: important
It seems that "plptools" messes up the keyboard operations on iBook G4 when installed. I just added the "plptools" package (and no other ones) to my installation, and the keyboard stopped functioning properly. It seems to ignore some keypresses and to report other as newlines. When I boot the system from an Ubuntu live-cd or in Mac OS X, there are no problems with the keyboard, so it is unlikely that I have run into a hardware failure. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-powerpc Locale: LANG=fo_FO.ISO8859-1, LC_CTYPE=fo_FO.ISO8859-1 (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages plptools depends on: ii debconf 1.4.59 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.5-8 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcc1 1:4.0.2-4 GCC support library ii libnewt0.51 0.51.6-31 Not Erik's Windowing Toolkit - tex ii libreadline5 5.0-10 GNU readline and history libraries ii libstdc++6 4.0.2-4 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 plptools recommends no packages. -- debconf information: plptools/plpnfsd/start: false plptools/plpprintd/start: false plptools/ncpd/start: true plptools/frontends/remoteaddr: plptools/plpprintd/printqueue: psion plptools/customize: plptools/ncpd/serial: /dev/ttyS0 plptools/ncpd/listenat: 127.0.0.1 plptools/plpnfsd/suid: false -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
