Hi. In Debian Edu, we adjust the munin-node configuration by replacing the config file using /etc/default/munin-node and content like this: DAEMON_ARGS="--config /etc/munin/debian-edu-munin-node.conf" We use this method instead of replacing the /etc/munin/munin-node.conf file to stay policy compliant and avoid forsing people to see a conffile question on package upgrades. This no longer work with systemd.
