well because it is unrelated to occ. There is no gtk inside occ, so it can't try to load this lib from within and it is triggerd by something else. Also the web says that nealy every app started inside a console in gnome can trigger this error [1,2]. According to some sites it is related to wrongly set of GTK_PATH or GTK_MODULE. And actually whether the software is working or not is unrelated to this error message. The problem about the icon is actually handled in the bug #750847, so there is nothing, why this bug should stay open.
