After some more tests I can't say which exact circumstances make thinkfan work and which not; what cause it everytime is: 1) reboot 2) service restart (service thinkfan restart) After a first fail even a complete shutdown does not fix it every time. I actually spotted the problem with a simple configuration without level adjustments, this is my conf after the first test (temp level were the same with the simple conf).
