with mencoder gone, photofilmstrip is pretty much useless in Debian, see #753890. It's also broken by the wxPython 3.0 transition, see #759065. I emailed both maintainer and upstream on 2014-09-22 and so far nobody objected to my intention. Being the last active uploader of this package, I hereby request removal from unstable.
