Package: quodlibet Version: 0.15-3 Quodlibet will occasionally get to the end of a track and then freeze. When this happens, one or both of its two processes will be spinning through some sort of thread synchronization primitive [strace shows an endless stream of calls to futex()], consuming 100% CPU. In this state neither process responds to anything short of kill -9.
I cannot reliably reproduce the bug, but will be happy to do experiments and report results. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.14-2-686-smp Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages quodlibet depends on: ii gstreamer0.8-alsa [gstreamer0 0.8.11-2 ALSA plugin for GStreamer ii gstreamer0.8-mad 0.8.11-2 MAD MPEG audio decoder plugin for ii gstreamer0.8-vorbis 0.8.11-2 Vorbis plugin for GStreamer ii libgtk2.0-0 2.6.10-2 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii python 2.3.5-3 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-gst 0.8.2-1 generic media-playing framework (P ii python-gtk2 2.6.3-2 Python bindings for the GTK+ widge ii python-pymad 0.5.4-1 Python wrapper to the MPEG Audio D ii python-pyvorbis 1.3-1 A Python interface to the Ogg Vorb ii python2.3-pymad [python-pymad 0.5.4-1 Python wrapper to the MPEG Audio D Versions of packages quodlibet recommends: ii libgstreamer-gconf0.8-0 0.8.11-2 GConf support for GStreamer ii python-gnome2-extras 2.10.2-1 Python bindings for the GNOME desk ii python2.3-gnome2 2.10.0-4 Python bindings for the GNOME desk ii quodlibet-ext 0.15-3 extensions for the Quod Libet audi -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
